![]() His role has some similarities to it, but it's not the same, and those similarities are therefore no proof of that speculation to be true, not just "because it's contradicted", but primarily due to being invalid speculation, made up information. Master Hand's not so much powerful than the fighters that they're literal toys to him, like you would see some toy that does nothing. Master Hand's still an allegory, but there's no room for what some thought him to be to now be what he literally is. An allegory is not the literal thing it represents, if we were in 1999 then you could speculate that future games could make the allegory real, make Master Hand just the hand of a kid or god, and make the fighters literal toys that don't come to life, or have the kid being infinitely more real, others could speculate other takes on how things would develop while contradicting less or more things than you and keeping consistent less or more things than you, it didn't really matter. What we knew from only Smash 64 was that Master Hand had Life Manip as he could give toys life, and that he was an allegory of a hand playing with toys, that info alone should only give Master Hand a bigger power than the toys he can give life to and still remain with power himself, but nothing that would make him jump tiers above any characters. A number of assumptions can be made from this, but the next games change a bit how the world works there All the characters are no longer the same toys, but canonically lifeless trophies that can be set by anyone to come to life, and when defeated, they turn back into lifeless trophies just like before. Ultimate, click here.In Smash 64 we saw him use the playable characters as lifeless toys and give them life. Gallery For more pictures and screenshots of Super Smash Bros.
